Last updated: June 26, 2026
1. Overview
Beytbnb (“Beytbnb”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates a marketplace that connects travelers with hosts offering stays and experiences across Algeria, available on the web and as a mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.
By creating an account or otherwise using Beytbnb, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of information so the platform can work as intended:
- Account & profile data — your first and last name, email address, phone number, password (stored only as a secure hash), profile photo, and language or currency preferences.
- Identity verification (KYC) data — when you verify your identity or become a host, we collect government-issued identity documents and verification photos to confirm you are a real person and to help keep the community safe.
- Listing & booking data — listings you create or save, reservation dates, guest counts, availability, pricing, and the status and history of your bookings.
- Payment & payout data — payment receipts you upload (for example bank or CCP transfer receipts), payout details for hosts, and the transaction records associated with your bookings. We do not store full card numbers.
- Messages & support content — the content of messages exchanged between guests and hosts, dispute submissions, and the requests you send to our support team.
- Location data — the location of listings and, with your permission, your device location to power map search, nearby results, and the location picker.
- Reviews & ratings — the ratings and reviews you submit or receive.
- Device, security & usage data — IP address, device and browser information, recognized sign-in devices, two-factor authentication settings, push notification tokens, and interaction logs we use to operate, secure, and improve the service.

5. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service. We may retain certain records longer where required to meet legal, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or dispute-resolution obligations. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.
6. How We Protect Your Information
We apply technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data, including encrypted transport, hashed passwords, two-factor authentication, recognized-device checks, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work continuously to protect your information.
